It isn't very often that you can say you are your OWN #inspiration...
Makes sense though, right?
I mean NO ONE can relate better to your struggles than YOU.

But in this case, I look at this photo and see so much MORE. I look at the changes that I was able to make and the physical results are sooo obvious! But there are things in this pic that I SEE that maybe no one else can see....

Here is what this picture DOES NOT show....

The BEFORE pic doesn't show the pain and embarrassment I felt.
It doesn't show the sadness and tears in my eyes when I looked at myself in the mirror. It doesn't show the DENIAL that I was in for so long. It doesn't show the low level of confidence that I thought I had, and although I am an outgoing person, I was okay with HIDING behind the walls of my home, and when I HAD to go out, I had a hard time finding anything that I was comfortable in. Which in turn made me a not-so-outgoing person. I still LOVED myself and knew that my appearance didn't determine my self-worth, but it was hard to portray that to others because I was so uncomfortable.

What the AFTER pic doesn't show is the crazy amount of energy that I gained through this process. It doesn't show the EXCITEMENT I felt just knowing that I was making a difference, not only in my life, but in the lives of others that were leaning on me for strength and encouragement. It doesn't show the enormous boost in self confidence. I was beginning to ENJOY shopping and I actually got to a point where I would see a picture of myself and not automatically hit DELETE! (please tell me I am not the only one who does But what I LOVED most of all is that I had FOUND HOPE! HOPE for a better life. HOPE for something GREATER. HOPE for making a difference in the world and HOPE for being a part of something that was BIGGER than myself!!!

Here is the problem.... I got COMFORTABLE and stopped setting goals for myself. I stopped improving myself, and while trying to continue to help others, I was losing my own strength. I lost HOPE for myself. It seemed by giving it away, I was diminishing my own light, and not working on myself to replenish the positivity and hope that I was giving away. I lost my strength and gained a lot of the weight back. Yes, that is what happens when you stop working out and stop eating healthy. I am sorry to say, but THIS MUST BE A LIFESTYLE CHANGE. There is no easy way, which in the end, makes it even MORE REWARDING!!!!

Now that I have found what to do, as well as what NOT to do, I have realized that I can do this again! I KNOW without doubt because of this picture. I see it and KNOW that it IS possible!!!
Because I have ALREADY DONE IT!!!! And I am#DETERMINED to help even MORE people this time!!! I have renamed this movement "#MOVEMENT OF HOPE" because I want to share the HOPE that is life-changing! You can change your life and change the lives of others along the way, and there is nothing, really nothing that can compare to that feeling of#HOPE"

These gifts are truly #PRICELESS

Need #HELP? Believe me, I have likely been there and would LOVE to help you!

Find your PASSION and PURPOSE to keep you MOTIVATED

I think emotional baggage weighs at least 5 pounds because THAT is what I have lost this week! SO much burden has been lifted because I have SHARED it!!! Not that others have to carry it when I give it to them, but they help me release it and we are equally served in the process!!!

Since my change in mindset in the past couple weeks, I have been receiving AMAZING messages thanking me for being a light and inspiration. Honestly, it LIGHTS me even MORE to KNOW without a doubt that I have the power within to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!

I just got this message this morning from a new friend---> She writes, "I wanted to take a minute to really thank you.  It was last Tuesday that you emailed me about working with me and after reading your blog, I recommitted to myself and realized I was worth fighting for and even though weight loss is so hard, I'm worth working that hard for.  Your pure raw truth inspires me and the very next morning after receiving your email I weighed myself (which I had not done for a long time) and my truth was...I had attained 230 lbs.  Tomorrow it will be one week since that weigh in but I cheated and weighed myself this morning and I am down 3.4 pounds.  I truly started to cry.  This is the beginning of my journey and I am not going to make excuses anymore.  Either on one of your facebook or blog comments stated the same thing...that we are to blame for the way we are and we are the ones that can fix it.    Anyway, I just wanted to say think you and I am (for the first time) excited about the hard work I will have to put into this journey and the outcome I will receive from it."

I BAWLED. Like you know the ugly cry that comes when least expected? I immediately thanked The Lord for allowing this HOPE and PASSION back into my life. I LIVE to serve others. It is what drives me to become better myself.

Do you want to know what CHANGED in me, and how I could go from just last month as one who had given up most hope and had convinced myself that I was okay with being "average", to now, just a few short weeks later KNOWING, and I mean KNOWING WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that I can do hard things with the Lord as my strength, and not only working out daily, but realizing my PURPOSE to this whole "healthy lifestyle". (which, I might add is NOT something I am all that passionate about.) Watch this video I made this morning and I will explain what it was that I really discovered about myself and how I can help others stay motivated!!!!

So HOW exactly do we "change" lives as a Beachbody Coach?

Well I want to SHOW YOU the first way!

I am starting a 21-day program that I am 100% COMMITTED to and want to share my next 3 weeks on a personal level with ANYONE who is ready for change!!!

Want to SEE and FEEL what you can do to improve your life in just 21 days? (And that is drink half your body weight in ounces of water! Don't worry! It's not as tough as you think it may be!)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY! I am looking for those who ALREADY own a Beachbody workout program and are READY to commit to dusting that baby off and using it to your benefit!

Here is the thing though... YOU have to be IN IT!!! I can't DO it for you. Read the commitments and if you are ready, then by ALL means send me a message NOW and tell me WHAT it is you are ready to change. Make sure I add you to our private group because we are starting on MONDAY!!!

Remember, you ARE capable of greatness! You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be GREAT!!!!

Then I can add you to the group!

My HEART and PASSION belong in serving others

***A lifechanging journey SO FAR***

What is a leader to you?

In 2012 I was a Diamond Coach in Beachbody, and was considered one of the top local leaders in our area. I was matching my husband's full-time income by working PART TIME from home doing something that I was passionate about, which was bulding relationships with people, inspiring them to become better, and improving my own health by losing over 70 pounds through exercise (In all honesty, I never shared my income side of it because I was determined NOT to. I had decided that I wasn't going to be "in it" for the money because the money to me didn't matter---ALTHOUGH it really did motivate me because I wanted to make a difference in my family life, help with the bills, and relieve some of my husband's stress of paying all the bills). The money helped us out A LOT (I mean imagine how your family could benefit from an extra $500, $1,000, or ever $2,000 a month).... PLUS we were able to go on a paid family vacation to Walt Disney World in 2013 AND a paid Carribbean Cruise in 2014! I can share more of the financial benefit later, but for now, the leadership position I was put in was something I was NOT at all used to.

There were many other leaders in Beachbody that I admired greatly (still do) and I watched them on social media and saw them post about their lives and how seemingly perfect it was. Perfect houses, perfect body, perfect marriage, perfect kids, perfect meals.... (maybe you know some?)

I was inspiring people online and try to portray my own life as seemingly perfect. I knew that I was making a difference in the lives of others because I would get personal messages every day thanking me for being so... I was ALWAYS posting workouts and how "AWESOME" they were, posting my weightloss and how "AMAZING" it felt, always so "HAPPY" and positive (I think I may have lost who knows how many facebook friends because it likely got annoying to some). I did this because I believed that as a leader, I was to lead by example. I thought I had to have this picture-perfect life to be a person of influence.

BUT as I was living this seemingly perfect life online, my home was disorganized. I would look around and see my unfinished home that was constantly being remodeled and improvements being made. We had dirty dishes in the sink more often than not. Our siding needs replaced and our stairs and basement don't even have carpet yet since we can't install it until the hall and back room walls are completely finished. Some days I didn't want to cook dinner and we would eat out. Most of the time I wasn't even showered or dressed nicely.

My mind and self-sabbotage got the best of me and I started to doubt wether or not I was "leader" material. I convinced myself that I can NOT be a person of infuence until I get my life and home under control. I can't make a difference in the lives of others until I make a difference in my own life (like losing over 70 pounds and bringing in a significant amount of income for our family wasn't enough). I stopped trying to lead others and I withdrew in shame and embarassment. This happened over a period of several months and was a result of not enough personal development. It is draining to help others without keeping your own lamp lit!

Although I stopped "working" the business, I still continued (and still earn extra money each week)from residual income. This income comes from others in my organization that continued the work of serving others, and it also comes from the hundreds of customer leads that I had gotten (and continue to get) from the company--- YES they freakin' GIVE us customers (how awesome is that?) - MANY of whom I have connected with and we have become good friends!

I went several months without working Beachbody. I quit the vital behaviors, I closed myself off from the world, and guess what? Nothing changed for the better inside of me. I gained weight back. Not a day went by that I didn't think of Beachbody and the purpose and passion I felt when I was living it. The HOPES and DREAMS for a healthier, less-stressful life that had once been brought out of the attic and dusted off, were now being shut back up and I was about to lock them up again because I was losing hope. I went back to the mindset that I was destined to live a life where bills were stressful and that it would be okay if we lived paycheck to paycheck BECAUSE the money didn't really matter anyway. Did it? It helped my family in so many ways, why would I NOT share it?

I am not sure exactly WHAT it was that changed in me so recently. But once I started to let the idea of Beachbody Coaching back into my life, HOPES and DREAMS started coming back. My motivation to become better started to return and that passion and aliveness that I was so desperately longing for for so long was like the warm sun and a breath of fresh air after being locked up in the darkness for months.

I have realized that I don't have to have the perfect life, the perfect body, or the perfect home to be a person of influence. I am just me, just human, NEVER perfect and not striving to be perfect. I am just working to improve a little every day, and I want to share light and hope to anyone who can relate and feels that they have no one who understands their struggles. BELIEVE me, I understand more than you realize, and without judgment, I want to help you believe in yourself!

Thank you to all those who have done the same for me!!!!

Now thankfully I still have many on my awesome team that believe in me and still see me as a leader that I know I will be. This has become part of me and part of my story and instead of hiding from it, I am learning to embrace it. I am just glad it isn't too late to regain my responsibilities and lead people despite my not-so-perfect life!

Consider your blessings

I don't think there is anything more powerful in the world than having a grateful heart. think being grateful means you take advantage of your blessings, no matter how small. You are able to look around and acknowledge all the blessings and simply live in AWE and AMAZMENT of what you have been given.

Many people spend their life wishing for more, while forgetting to recognize what they already have.

Your life alone is a blessing, so if you are reading this, realize that you have at least three things to be grateful for! Yourself and your brain and your ability to read!

Count your blessings every day! Awaken with a grateful heart. Express your gratitude through prayer and positive affirmations!

Before you lay in bed at night, take time to thoughtfully and wholeheartedly release your gratitude. Exhude that joy that your blessings bring you. What you focus on EXPANDS! Focus on your blessings, and you will find yourself receiving even MORE of them!!!!

You can OVERCOME anything!!!!

If video does not appear automatically, CLICK HERE to view it on Youtube

Struggling to overcome temptations?

Thinking of giving up?

What I learned about this

and HAVE to share with you!

Yes, I am a little long-winded and I CRY a little,

but it is heartfelt and if I can reach out and help at least one person

then it is ALL worth it!!!

I feel like huge burdens are being lifted as my back

as I release all these lessons and struggles!!!

We can't overcome our struggles alone!!! We need each other!

I am thinking of you and wish you the best!

CHOICES to be made--OPPORTUNITIES before you every day

Do you know WHAT you want out of life?
Take a moment to stop and think about the expectations you have set for yourself.
You get up in the morning.... What time? What is planned for the first hour of your day?
Whatever time it is and whatever it is you do, you do it because you CHOOSE to.

Now take a moment to stop and think about this: Where are your actions leading you?
Do you have BIG plans for yourself? For your life? For your future?
Do you have any plans at all or are you just taking life day by day waiting and wondering when something great is going to come along?

Well guess what? Great things come along EVERY day!!! You can choose to seek out these things and take advantage of these opportunities, or let them pass you by.
Opportunities like these:
to better yourself
to learn a new skill
to serve other people
to help someone in need
to accomplish a task and feel a sense of pride in what you have done
to reach out and make someone feel loved
to set and reach a goal
to DREAM bigger and create a sense of excitement and vigor for life and all the wonderful things around that God has given us!
There is so much potential for you to do great things and make a difference!!!
The opportunities are endless!

Imagine living a life where you are full of energy and excitement every single day! Imagine a life where you can spend your days with ones you LOVE spending time with. Imagine living a positive life and leaving a legacy of love and service. A life that is committed to making a lasting impact on every life you touch. (Well, okay, maybe not EVERY life, because there will always be naysayers.) Imagine living a life that you are proud of. Full of lessons and accomplishments that you can carry with you without regret. A life that others can admire.

You BECOME the person that people LOVE to be around.
You are well respected because of your determination and dedication to your core values of loving, serving, and giving to others. Now THAT is a LIFE well spent and worth living! Does it require money to live a life full of love and service? No. Love and service are free. And it was THIS very thought that led me to believe that I don't need to set financial goals. Who freaking cares about money, the kind of car you drive, the kind of home you live in, what brand of clothes you are wearing? None of that matters if you live a life full of love and have a giving heart. I mean, Mother Teresa did amazing things in her life and was well known for her generosity, she gave all she had and then some. But can you imagine the difference she could have made if she had more financial resources?

Imagine having the freedom to love and give freely, without any worry of the cost or finances involved? It's not about the money in life, but rather WHAT the money can do for the lives around you.

What does money have to do with living life? We want so badly to create a life of FREEDOM and endless service, then we are brought back to the reality of our current situation and all of the requirements to "make" a living these days. WORK. Most everything you have is the result of work and time spent. Most day jobs are spent exchanging time for money. If you want money, you must put in the time. Some love their day job, and others not so much. What a stressful life to be stuck in a job spending hours every day working for someone else who possibly doesn't appreciate you, leaving you to feel like you are doing them a favor by being there, all for a paycheck that goes to pay everyday bills just to be alive (just so you can get up the next morning and go BACK to work).

Do people with hourly wage jobs spend their days thinking or worrying about how to create wealth so maybe one day they don' have to think or worry about money and the struggle of paying those bills? I hope they think about money because THAT is the reason they go to work... right? Do you think people would actually go to work if they weren't getting paid? I am sure there are many more things that they would rather be doing than sitting at a job where other people are in charge of them, bossing them around, telling them when they have to be there, when they can go on break, and when they can leave. All while making the employee feel that they are doing them a favor for employing them. "At least you have a job".... right? Isn't that what we hear so much these days? Stress is known to diminish health, and financial burden is known to cause stress, so living this stressful life can be detrimental to your health.

What if you were your OWN BOSS and worked a job from home that actually created FINANCIAL FREEDOM... we are talking about creating a life where you don't have to worry about money. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?

I think the truth is most people cannot imagine it because they have lost HOPE.

Can you even imagine how it would feel if your electricity bill is unexpectedly higher this month, and you can pay that without stress? Imagine your child gets sick and you can be supportive at their side without having to think about how much the cost will be? Imagine enjoying the home of your dreams, without worry of the bank foreclosing on it.  Imagine being able to take your family on a memorable vacation every year without having to stress about pinching every single penny through the entire year to make that happen.

That is the ultimate freedom!!

Through personal development, you can come to realize that YOU are SO deserving and capable of living that kind of life!

But what is financial freedom if you don't have the health and vitality to get out and LIVE?! Health is something that people take for granted. I heard from someone that the majority of people strive for success during their life and put their health on the back burner, and by the time they realize they have done so, they must work the second part of their life to regain their health in order to enjoy the people and success that they have created through the years.

Most of us have lived a life that is not so picture perfect so far, and that's okay!

YOUR LIFE is YOUR story and part of YOUR journey! You have learned lessons that were specific to you and your needs. Don't ever be ashamed of your past or YOUR story! Embrace your struggles and LEARN from them. Then draw a line and DECIDE that where you once were, and where you are now is NOT where you will end up! Make positive daily changes that lead you to becoming the person you want to be! It's never too late to learn how to set and reach goals.

I have personally experienced what it feels like to match my husband's full time income by working part time from home. My job consisted of helping other people see their potential and set goals for themselves. I personally lost over 70 pounds with exercise from home and proper nutrition, so I was not only was changing my life and bettering my health, I was setting a good example for my family and friends, AND I was able to reach out to and inspire countless others online. I am not a fitness or nutrition expert, but I just shared my experiences and helped them see what was possible for them. It was honestly SO fulfilling, and I finally felt like I had direction and purpose! I was surrounding myself with people that wanted to become better, which in turn kept me motivated to better myself!!!! I was able to take my family on an all-expense paid "business" trip to Walt Disney World in Florida last year, and my husband and I just got back from an all-expense paid Caribbean Cruise "business trip". All while continuing to get paid WHILE on vacation! DREAM JOB! right? I would be lying if I said that the money was not a motivator to me lose weight and better my health. The company actually gives away cash prizes for losing weight! $500 daily, $1000 monthly, $5000 quarterly, and  $100,000 annually. Lose weight, gain confidence and energy, become stronger physically-spiritually-mentally, and inspire others to do the same... AND EARN MONEY DOING SO?!?!?!

Yes, I worked part time from home and my growing income was matching his pay from his full time job.* That job where he is told what time to be there, what to do, how to do it, whether or not he can have time off, how much he "deserves" to be paid, whether or not he gets a raise, the usual J-O-B. I mean, yes we are so grateful for that job that has continued to pay our bills, and he works hard, and has over 10 years perfect attendance (yes, he has not been late OR had an unscheduled missed day in TEN years). I am proud of him for that and admire his dedication!!!
Since it seemed I didn't have that same dedication...

I made excuses for myself and self-sabotaged my success with self-doubts and reasoning that I wasn't "meant" to have money (like those excuses I made above). I refused to be "in it for the money" although it was because of the money that I was able to do many of the extra things I was doing. I was changing lives physically and emotionally, but I was afraid to talk about the opportunity to help change others' lives with the financial opportunity because I didn't want to sound money-hungry or selfish. BUT instead, I realize I was being selfish by NOT sharing it!!!

I made excuses about me not being "deserving" and I stopped my personal progression. I stopped my workouts and I stopped reading personal development. Therefore, it escalated my feelings of not feeling "deserving" of being a role model to others. I started to withdraw, and stopped helping people. I stopped posting inspirational thoughts because I wasn't feeding my mind with inspiration. All these things were part of me being a coach, so when I stopped doing these things, my business stopped growing as well. I tell you this because it has become part of my story and I have learned SO much from my experiences (what to do and what NOT to do), so now I am more prepared than EVER to help anyone that I mentor from here on out!

Here is the kicker: Although I stopped working, I still continued to get paid. YES, my income went down a bit, but for not working the business at all for months, $400-$600 a month was still helping our household. (IMAGINE what an extra $400-$600 a month could do for your household). That residual income had come from the time and effort I had put in the year before. It came from others in my organization that were continuing to help others, and also from customer leads I had gotten from the company (they gave me free customer leads, and still continue to give me customer leads that come from their well-known infomercials that are on television DAILY). Money or no money, I am coming back into this because I came to the realization that my life was NOT as fulfilling as it had been when I was building new relationships with others and serving the Lord by being a light and inspiration to those around me. I tell you, I got COUNTLESS messages from people telling me how they looked up to me and were just thanking me for being so uplifting and strong. I humbly accepted those compliments, sometimes with too much humility, feeling that I was undeserving of so much praise. I think I got scared of the responsibility of having so many people look up to me. So I backed away. My bad... But I have learned so much that I want to freely share! A bit of what I learned I share in ANOTHER BLOG POST.

The worst is knowing the financial potential, knowing how there are countless people out there that it could help, and not sharing it. No, money is not everything in life, but the peace it can bring and the burdens it can lift, are something to take SERIOUS and worth working toward!!! You have to make a living somehow. Why not do it by spending time and effort helping and serving others WHILE continuing your personal growth. SERVICE is the PATHWAY to real true Significance in this life! I have come to realize how much of a positive impact I was making on others when improving my own life. Help others see that it is possible to DREAM BIGGER and want more for yourself and your family. There is nothing selfish about wanting to be free from financial burdens. The struggles I have been dealt have taught me so much! Once I started letting go of blame, hard feelings, jealousy, uncontrollable circumstances, and self-doubt, I began to BELIEVE that this is truly a BLESSING in my life in countless ways!

NOW I AM BACK and more committed than EVER to help as many people as I can!!!

I feel compelled to share my story so that others may see that there IS HOPE!!!

Nine-to-Five jobs these days will not create financial freedom. It's a sad truth. You work your entire life for an hourly wage and expect your retirement to be paid for. Unless you are doing some serious investing, there is no guarantee. And even then, IS IT ENOUGH? We need money to survive, right? Why not make money doing something that is about helping others reach THEIR goals. The more you help others reach their goals, the more you are financially rewarded. My struggles have taught me lessons, and NOW I am sharing the struggles, unlike I did before! THIS time I am more prepared!!!

I have BIG plans for my future and my family! I know that through improving my knowledge and skills, I can better serve those around me. I have total BELIEF that this will change my life as well as thousands of lives around me! My team is getting stronger and we are banding together to make an even bigger impact! There is NO limit to the amount of people we can reach out to! Obesity is a growing problem and we have the tools to help those that feel stuck! I WILL pay off my mortgage so my husband can have that stress lifted off his back! The less stress we have, the healthier we will be and the MORE we can accomplish!!

If you are ready to learn more about an opportunity that can change your life:
physically (improve your health, have more energy to LIVE life, lose weight, learn how to exercise at home with well-known home workouts like INSANITY, P90X, Body Beast, Beachbody Ultimate Reset, 21 Day Fix, and MANY more and learn to eat healthy)
mentally (gain more confidence and belief in yourself through personal development, set and conquer goals, create lasting habits that will inspire others, learn to focus on the POSITIVE things in life and let go of negativity, embrace your past experiences)
spiritually (Give gratitude to God for blessings and the amazing people and opportunities that will be brought into your life, see yourself as God sees you--Limitless and FULL of potential and WORTHY of every success and experience that is placed before you)
financially (create financial freedom and the ability to WORK from home on your own terms, see that there is literally NO limit to what you can earn and DECIDE how much of it you want and set your own hours accordingly, start by working part-time to create a strong business foundation which will allow you to surpass your current hourly wages, Low start-up fee and no inventory required--Shipping hassles, lifetime warranties of discs, and customer services are provided for you!)*

ONCE YOU BEGIN TO POSITIVELY CHANGE YOUR LIFE, IT IS SO EASY AN YOU WILL  NATURALLY WANT TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS! Once you get others involved in changing THEIR life, that is when the magic happens!!! You begin to experience what it FEELS like to have a positive influence on others! And if you have already had success with a Beachbody workout program, you have likely already noticed yourself talking about it with others when you start seeing results! PEOPLE WATCH YOU and are naturally drawn to others who are succeeding in any area of life! I know this business and have been through all the fine print and details, and feel I have much power and knowledge to share.  But it is not so much about the details as it is about TAKING ACTION and deciding to make a positive CHANGE and propel your life and purpose of serving others. How do we help people?

~Ask me about my good friends just from my own small TOWN on our team!!! One has lost over 90 pounds in 15 months and MANY others have lost over 50 pounds! Another friend paid off his $180K mortgage in one year, and earned one of the top spots in the company and quit his full-time job and now makes over $16,000 a week!* Or another friend of mine that went from bankrupt to now changing many lives and earning over $5,000 a week!* Yes it determines what effort you put into it! The income is NOT about the money, but what the money can BRING into one's life and the lives of others! Imagine the freedom, excitement, vitality and SO much more that I and so many others are experiencing.

I will recommend that you start with improving your health first by trying one of our home workout programs. You will see that once you start getting results, it becomes easy to share your experience with others. They will see a positive change in you and often times ASK YOU what they can do to improve their own life. No, it is not about the "sell" or getting another "customer" but more about focusing on the needs of others and offering them a SOLUTION--- in which we have!!!!
We have support groups to help you along your journey of improving physically, mentally, spiritually and financially.

If this is something that you are wondering about, something that sounds intriguing, or maybe something that you are considering and have questions for me, contact me and I will answer any questions you have.

Negative Mindset and Stress WEIGH YOU DOWN--- LITERALLY!

Negative Mindset and Stress WEIGH YOU DOWN--- LITERALLY!

I have noticed that this is so true!
It is so much harder to lose weight when you have a doubtful mindset and choose to focus on negative parts of life that are simply out of your control.

It is like a spiral downward... You want to be happier and lose weight, but find it difficult to put in ALL THAT WORK, or even worse, you put in all that work without seeing the results quick enough, so you begin to doubt yourself, which in turn causes your body to hold onto that stress and anxiety, therefore making it even more difficult to lose the weight.
You then become MORE stressed out, and find yourself speaking even more negative thoughts to yourself, which in turn attracts negative into your life...
weighing you down mentally and physically.

Mentally, as in the burden of your stress and worry is overwhelming at times.
Physically, as in you will not only have a hard time losing weight, but you may actually find yourself gaining weight...

Maybe this downward spiral sounds familiar to you? I may not be aware of your personal situation, but I am aware of my personal experiences, and that pretty much describes some tough times that I have been through.

BUT, I have also experienced the opposite spiral! The one where you want to lose weight, choose to be happy and focus on all the things that are going right in your life. Where you create positive affirmations for yourself that you speak aloud to yourself daily, which in turn brings a sense of peace and positive energy into your mind, freeing you from worry and stress, and lightening that mental burden. This sense of enlightenment increases your desire and drive to improve and you begin to lose weight and see positive changes in your life.
The spiral continues upward and you begin to create bigger goals for yourself.
Your energy is through the roof!
You see your potential is greater than you ever thought possible and you set higher expectations and feel AMAZING as you see yourself accomplishing what you once only dreamed about! Dreams begin to become reality and you realize that not only are you changing your own life, but your positive energy and newly-found purpose and drive
is spilling out into the lives of others.
They begin to see hope for themselves and then reach out to thank YOU for inspiring them!

Yes, both scenarios are VERY real.  I have lived them both, and I have seen others live them. The truth is, your reality is based on the choices you make.
But also, you ATTRACT into your life what you ARE.
If you are negative and living a life of regret and hopelessness, then that is what kind of people and experiences that you will find coming into your life.
But on the other hand, if you are driven to improve, striving for progress, setting your mood to a happy, positive beat every morning, THAT is the kind of people and experiences you will attract into your life. It literally begins with a conscious choice... EVERYDAY.
I would love to hear your experiences with either scenario.
Please share and tell me what you have learned.

DEEP in thought... me being a little more than transparent

The Last few months I have been reflecting on a LOT. Trying to recall my journey throughout the last couple of years. I know that I once had some regret, and still do regret not keeping a record of my emotional struggles and successes through my 70+ pound weight loss journey. Especially now that I feel like I am almost starting over.

I was once obese and through nutrition and exercise I was able to lose a significant amount of weight. Easier said than done, right?

I can easily recall the way I FELT after losing weight. I can remember the abundance of energy, the escalated self confidence, the joy of getting dressed and liking the way my clothes were fitting! It was so exciting and is still fresh in my mind!

But I wasn't done! I still had more to lose! It is well known that weight loss really doesn't have a finish line, because once you lose the weight, you must then CONTINUE the healthy lifestyle to MAINTAIN that weight. Well, I still had weight to lose!

So why did I stop after coming so dang far? I still ask myself that question...
But I have learned so much going through these struggles, that I KNOW that it HAD to happen for me to overcome my self-doubts and increase BELIEF in myself and my potential. Mindset is huge in any life transformation. To pursue and progress forward you must personally grow. I recognize that it was my lack of personal development that kept me from progressing. How can I help others if I don't first help myself?

But is it too late to restart?

Absolutely not.

It is NEVER too late to learn. It is never to late to improve. It is NEVER EVER too late to change direction and course.

Well, of course unless you are dead, but even then I believe there is HOPE! ;)

TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS (or those who once followed me, and no longer do because I'm a slacker), I am SO SORRY!!!!! I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Here is ONE (of the MANY) things I have learned in the past several months:

"Choices you make everyday, although seemingly insignificant at the time, ultimately determine where you end up. Do your daily choices align with where you want to be?

It is this very reason that when wondering WHY you are where you are, the answer is so very clear... take a look in the mirror and you will see who is responsible." -Cherish

So here is my confession: It is ALL my fault... For gaining weight, for losing support, for losing belief in myself, for losing traction on my momentum, for losing sight of my goals... It is ALL my fault and NO ONE else's.
Why have I been so quick to throw the blame on other people? Maybe because it was easier than taking responsibility of my own actions and fessing up to my mistakes and lack of action. (and yes, I overate, and lacked self control when it came to food, and that is ALL MY FAULT as well!)

Guess what? I have something that I think about EVERY DAY, that I have been trying to give up on, but I just can't seem to imagine my life without it! And as much as it changed my life previously, I can't imagine not sharing it with others since I KNOW it can change their life as well!

It is something that taught me countless things about myself!!! It helped me believe in things that I thought were once impossible, it taught me how to take control of my life and make positive changes, it taught me that I was capable of inspiring others and making a difference in this world, it taught me to expect more from myself, it taught me that everyday choices are what will determine where we end up in a year from now, ten years from now... I have learned SO much from being a Beachbody Coach! I learned so much about myself and my limitless potential. I have learned to BELIEVE in myself and also to help others BELIEVE in themselves! It is SO empowering to know without a shadow of a doubt, that YOU are destined for great things! And it is also SUPER empowering to know that when great things don't happen, there is no one else to blame but yourself. (by the way, I am swallowing A LOT of pride when I say all this)... don't judge! lol! But seriously, I can't in good faith, keep something so life-changing, to myself. Yes, it's about working out and getting healthy, but more importantly, I FOUND purpose and PASSION in helping others see what was possible for them in their own life.

My point is, nothing is final until we are dead, and even then, there is still HOPE!

I want to throw this out there that I HAVEN'T GIVEN UP! I have faced some road blocks and hit my head on a few brick walls, but I am still alive and therefore, I still have to look at myself in the mirror each day. And I cannot look at myself in the mirror with adoration until I fulfill my calling in life which is to make a DIFFERENCE in the lives of others! That means being a positive influence and it starts with ME!

The next question is, are you with me? Because it won't be easy if I'm on my own. I look forward to building more relationships and being that source of hope and light for others that feel there isn't much hope or light out there.

Much Love,
